What are the dates and hours?
The Electric City Light Show runs November 12, 2025 – January 4, 2026. Entry times are hourly from 5–9 PM, with the show closing at 10 PM. Stay tuned on our website for more information.
How many people can I bring in a vehicle?
Tickets are per vehicle, not per person. Safely load up your car, SUV, or truck and enjoy the show together.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You can either print your ticket or show it on your phone to be scanned at entry.
How does the fast pass work?
The Fast Pass lets you skip the line. Simply purchase in advance online to guarantee entry. A limited number may be available at the gate, but they often sell out on busy nights.
Do you offer military discounts?
Yes. We’re proud to honor our military with special discount nights. Email info@hopeforthecity.org for more information.
Can the event sell out?
There is a possibility of selling out, especially around the holidays and when Christmas & the New Year approaches. Fast Pass tickets are limited and can sell out on peak nights. Online ticket purchasing is highly encouraged.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes. Groups purchasing 20 or more tickets can access special pricing. Please email info@hopeforthecity.org for details.
How does the season pass work?
A Season Pass allows unlimited entry for the 2025/26 season for two family vehicles. Please note: the pass is for personal use only and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. If you are interested in a season pass email info@hopeforthecity.org
Can buses or RVs come through?
For everyone’s comfort and safety, we’re unable to accommodate RVs, campers, motorhomes, trailers, large buses, box trucks, u-hauls, or semi-sized trucks. Please note that vehicles must be no larger than 20 feet long, 12 feet tall, and 8 feet wide.
Vehicles entering the event area must comply with the following:
- The event entryway clearance is 15 feet wide and 14 feet tall. Vehicles larger than this will not be permitted.
- Only properly registered and insured vehicles may participate.
- Vehicles must be in safe operating condition (no fluid leaks, unsafe tires, or hazards).
- Drivers must follow all posted signs, staff instructions, and event traffic flow.
- Speed limits within the event area must not exceed 5 MPH.
- No loud music, engine revving, or reckless driving will be tolerated.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in removal from the event without refund.
Is the Electric City Light Show a drive-through only experience?
Yes. Electric City is a drive-through only holiday light show. You’re welcome to drive slowly, roll down your windows, and take photos — but guests must remain in their vehicles at all times. Stopping vehicles for photos is not permitted to ensure the flow of traffic.
Are pets allowed?
Pets must remain inside the vehicle at all times. Hope For The City is not liable for your pet.
How long does the show take?
The drive-through experience takes approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic flow.
Are there concessions?
Absolutely! Concessions vary nightly and are based on availability.
Are restrooms available?
Mobile restroom units are available near the entry area. There are no restrooms inside the light show route, so please plan ahead.
Are you open on holidays?
Yes! We are open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
What happens in bad weather?
Our events are held rain or shine unless weather conditions present a clear danger to participants or staff. In the case of extreme or unsafe weather (such as lightning, flooding, or high winds), event organizers reserve the right to delay, modify, or cancel activities. We will accommodate weather closure tickets on a different night of your family’s choosing.
In cases of extreme wind or severe weather, please check our social media or website for updates:
